Nepal, Our Home and Specialty
Designed and operated in Nepal.
Since 2014, we have been guiding, designing, and operating journeys across the Annapurna and Everest regions.
We bring together trusted local teams, cultural depth, and international retreat standards to support teachers who want to work in Nepal with clarity and confidence.
Why Nepal For Yoga-Led Journeys
As the birthplace of the Buddha and a meeting point of Hindu and Buddhist traditions, Nepal offers depth that cannot be manufactured. Its monasteries, sacred rivers, mountain villages, and daily rituals create an atmosphere that naturally supports inner work.
Yet Nepal is also complex. Altitude, infrastructure, pacing, and cultural nuance require real local understanding.
Prana Vista bridges that gap.
We combine international retreat standards with direct Himalayan ground expertise, ensuring your group experiences Nepal with reverence, safety, and intelligent structure.

KATHMANDU & POKHARA
Retreat locations in Nepal
We curate retreats across Nepal’s most supportive and inspiring regions.
Kathmandu Valley
The Kathmandu Valley offers a rich cultural and spiritual foundation for retreats.
Carefully selected hotel and retreat accommodations provide comfort and calm, while proximity to temples, monasteries, and sacred sites allows for gentle cultural immersion.
Kathmandu is often ideal for the beginning or closing of a retreat journey.
Pokhara & Lakes
Set amidst tranquil lakes with Himalayan views, Pokhara offers a natural sense of spaciousness and ease.
It is an excellent base for yoga retreats, nature immersion, and Himalayan treks, allowing groups to settle into a slower rhythm while remaining closely connected to the mountains.
Each location is chosen to support the retreat process — balancing simplicity and comfort, structure and openness.
Beyond Landscape
Nepal is not only defined by terrain, but by centuries of ritual, architecture, and daily devotion.
Retreats here unfold within living cultural settings where temples, monasteries, and sacred squares remain active parts of community life.
For teachers, this means the landscape is not empty backdrop but layered with meaning.

CULTURE & RITUAL IN NEPAL
Cultural & Spiritual Experiences
We curate retreats across Nepal’s most supportive and inspiring regions.
Sacred Sites & Daily Rituals
Our journeys may include visits to Nepal’s historic temples, monasteries, and sacred landmarks. In the Kathmandu Valley, groups can explore living heritage sites where prayer, offering, and daily ritual continue as they have for centuries.
Early-morning walks through temple courtyards, time beside stupas, and quiet observation of local rhythms allow participants to encounter Nepal’s spiritual architecture and atmosphere firsthand.
Woven into the Retreat Flow
These visits are integrated naturally into the wider retreat structure. They are not add-ons or performances, but contextual experiences that deepen the sense of place.
Depending on the group’s focus, time may be set aside for reflection, journaling, or quiet presence within these settings, allowing what is witnessed to settle and inform the retreat process.
From Sacred Sites to Stillness
While many journeys include visits to historic landmarks, some groups seek quieter immersion. In selected contexts, time may be set aside for monastery stays or guided meditation within authentic practice settings.
These moments are offered thoughtfully and always optional, ensuring the retreat remains grounded and balanced.
MONASTIC TRADITIONS IN NEPAL
Monasteries & Meditation
Monastery Visits
For groups seeking deeper stillness, we can arrange short monastery stays or meditation experiences where appropriate.
These opportunities are offered with care and discernment, respecting the traditions, rhythms, and boundaries of monastic life.
The Experience
Meditation experiences may include periods of silence, simple daily routines, and guidance rooted in authentic practice.
Participation is always optional and thoughtfully matched to the group, ensuring these experiences support, rather than overwhelm, the retreat journey.

Journey Into The Mountains
In Nepal, walking is not separate from reflection. Treks become part of the retreat rhythm: days of steady ascent, shared effort, and spacious horizons that naturally invite perspective.
The mountains are not conquered. They are entered gradually, with care.

HIMALAYAN TREKKING EXPERIENCES
Himalayan Treks for Retreat Groups
We curate retreats across Nepal’s most supportive and inspiring regions.
Accommodation & Reality
Accommodation varies by region and altitude. In valleys and lower regions, we prioritise carefully selected stays that offer comfort and atmosphere.
On high mountain routes, infrastructure is naturally simpler. Tea houses can be basic, with shared facilities and modest rooms. Where options are limited, we secure the best available and prepare groups clearly for what to expect.
Safety & Structure
Our treks are designed specifically for retreat groups.
We balance movement, rest, and practice with careful attention to safety, altitude awareness, experienced licensed guides, and thoughtful pacing.

OFFERED SELECTIVELY & WITH CARE
Special Stays & Remote Regions
We curate retreats across Nepal’s most supportive and inspiring regions.
Remote Regions
For groups seeking something exceptional, we curate journeys in more remote Himalayan regions, including Upper Mustang and select mountain villages.
These routes are chosen for their atmosphere, architectural character, and sense of distance from the familiar. Small groups are introduced carefully, working with trusted local partners and communities.
Distinctive Stays
Experiences may include heritage lodges, limited-access areas, and, where appropriate, helicopter transfers that allow access without compromising the wider journey.
Offered selectively and with discretion, these stays are designed for intimacy and depth, rather than scale.
Work With Us
Each journey is co-created with the lead teacher. You bring the teaching, intention, and community. We build the structure and deliver it on the ground.
From accommodation and transport to permits, guides, meals, and pacing, our role is to ensure Nepal feels expansive rather than overwhelming.
On the ground, Karnesh co-facilitates alongside the lead teacher — helping set tone, read the group, maintain communication, and hold steady presence throughout the journey. This warmth and attentiveness are central to how our groups feel supported.
The result is a journey that is immersive, culturally respectful, and professionally run, without compromising depth.
